Day 29 - The Dukan Diet

Current Weight: 145.2 lbs         Lost Yesterday: .8lbs
Total Lost: 15.0 lbs!!!


Breakfast:
- Yogurt & Oats

Snack:
- Mix of Red/Orange/Yellow Peppers
- Celery Sticks

Lunch:
- Salad, with peppers & a chicken breast

Dinner:
- Chicken breast, salad & asparagus


I did it!  I have lost 15 entire pounds.  I figured with the zero weight lost over the weekend, I was due for a somewhat big number, but I didn't expect to be at 15 lbs lost this morning.  I feel great, it took me 4 weeks & 1 day to lose 15lbs.  I completely love this diet.  On a day-to-day basis, it is so easy to follow, and even if you have a bit of a transgression, and cheat, it doesn't permanently stay and within a few days you are back on track. 

I am telling you, asparagus is the vegetable of the weight loss God's.  If I eat asparagus, I have always lost weight the following day.  At our grocery store now, they have these 'microwave asparagus' dishes.  They are in the section with the pre-packaged salads.  Basically, asparagus has gone up to $4.99/lb in Canada, it was $2.99/lb when I started this diet a month ago.  These microwave dishes are $2.99 for a container, they have two servings of aspargus for me in them (I would say around a pound, maybe a little less) & they cook amazing.  I literally pop them in for 3 minutes and they come out perfect every time.  I stocked up & bought 4 packs yesterday so I always have them on-hand, and I didn't want the price to sky-rocket like the fresh stuff has.  They don't expire for another week and a half, so I should be able to get through them just fine.

Think I can break 145 tomorrow???  I may just have to exercise tonight to try and push me over the edge.
