Day 32, 33 & 34 - The Dukan Diet

Current Weight: 143.0 lbs           Lost this Weekend: .8 lbs
Total Lost: 17.2 lbs

So I got to where I said I wanted to be at the end of this weekend!  I am officially 5 lbs away from hitting my lowest weight ever, 138 lbs.  I am hoping to accomplish this within the next few weeks.

My main goal this week is to begin exercising on a regular basis.  I am convinced I would be well ahead of where I am if I consistently was going to the gym or even just walking the prescribed 30-minutes everyday.  This week I only have one commitment tonight and then I am a free-bird the rest of the week.  It will be interesting to see if I can pull out 3-4 days of real exercise, what kind of difference, if any, that will have on my overall weight loss.

My diet was really good this weekend.  I ate a WHOLE bunch of salad, because that is really the easiest thing to get my hands on.  It generally is always available with a grilled chicken breast on the top, and dressing on the side.  I was away at a baseball tournament, so I had prepared myself a large container of red/orange/yellow peppers cut-up.  Those were done within the first day, and then Sunday I struggled with some hunger since I was low on snacks.  I did have to break down & have 4 McD's hamburger patties, which wasn't on schedule, but I was driving & having a salad just wasn't in the cards while behind the wheel.

The best part of being my new weight, is I can really start to see my figure developing the way I want it to.  Granted I am losing some of my 'upper' parts, which make me a little side, but realistically I would much rather have smaller thighs/stomache along with a smaller chest, then have a big chest & big thighs/stomache.   I can see that in 23 lbs from now, I will have a nice flat stomache & curvy hips, so I will still look 'feminine' and not like a stick.

I can't throw out a long recap today as I am running late already, but hopefully I can keep up some weight loss today & hopefully by the end of the week I am inching closer to 140 lbs.

  1. I have been following your blog with great interest. I am a fellow Canadian from Alberta and started the Dukan Diet on July 1. I have lost 26 lbs and feel great. I found a really great recipe site if you want to check it out. Whoever is running it will not accept registrations but you can look around at the recipes. Some good infor on there too.
