So having reached 15lbs lost today, I thought it would be interesting after 4 weeks to see how much my measurements have changed. Check it out:
Thighs:
Start: 24 inches Today: 22 inches
Hips:
Start: 40 inches Today: 38 inches
Waist:
Start: 36 inches Today: 34 inches
Chest:
Start: 38.5 inches Today: 36 inches
Arms:
Start: 11.5 inches Today: 11 inches
Neck:
Start: 14.5 inches Today: 14 inches
So in total, I have lost 11.5 inches over my body. To be honest, I thought the number would be higher, but then again, I have never done 'measurements' before, so I don't know how much is a lot of inches to lose.
The reason I thought it would be higher is because I look significantly different. My clothes fit fantastically, I have no bulging, my skinny clothes feel kinda loose. Putting it in perspective though, I have lost almost a foot of fat off my body, so I think that is significant.
The most important thing for me, instead of numbers, is how I am feeling. I am getting compliments from people, I am not as tired doing simple tasks like walking up the stairs, and I really feel like I am having a life changing experience.
Losing this weight, and all those inches, is just a reinforcement to me that this IS working & if I stick to it, I WILL be skinny. Seems like a no-brainer now that I have gotten this far.
I am looking forward to week 8, and seeing the transformation in those stats.
