As you can see yesterday, I did not eat enough. I knew stepping on the scale this morning, I was going to have virtually no loss, if any at all. I am coming to a couple of conclusions with this diet. Firstly, if you don't eat enough, you don't lose weight. Secondly, to triple confirm, if you don't exercise, you don't lose weight.
Yesterdays schedule was a little out of whack & when we finally got home for dinner, we didn't have enough time to throw the ham that I wanted for dinner in the oven before heading out for baseball, so McDonald's it was. I know McDonald's hamburger patties can't be the greatest form of low-fat protein, BUT with the bun, and all the toppings, it is something like 8 grams of fat. So removing the bun, and all the toppings, and literally squeezing the crap out of it into a napkin until it is like dry of grease, I feel like it is a reasonable alternative in that situation. I have a real issue with paying like $6.50 for a Chicken Sandwich at McD's when all I can have is the chicken, cause it is crap chicken. Instead I got a double-hamburger for like $1.60. Works for me.
By the end of the evening though, I felt awful. Protein days are getting easier but when I am not home, and on the run, they are difficult. Vegetables are a lot more on-the-go friendly.
I really don't know what it is going to take for me to me get my exercise portion into check. My boyfriend is naturally slim, he comes from a slim family, who eat to their hearts content and manage a good weight. He does not like exercising. If only he would get my butt up and say 'lets go for a walk', I would be forced into it but that will never be the case. I really just don't know when the hell I can find the time. I feel like every second of everyday is full. Sigh.
Today is vegetable day & I steamed some asparagus before work today & am going to munch on that to hopefully break the 150lb barrier tomorrow!
