So yesterday wasn't a great day overall.  I barely ate anything, and frankly, I was feeling a little nauxious everytime I chewed a piece of meat.  That is where the piece of celery at dinner comes in.  I figured it is virtually calorie-less, and water, so I thought it was my safest bet for a new texture.

I am big on textures in my mouth, I have a bit of an obsession with food, and the way they 'chew' in my mouth.  After eating straight meat all day besides breakfast, I had to break down and have a piece of celery.  I thought to myself 'If you don't get something different in your mouth, you won't make it', so I ate the piece of celery.  I felt a lot better and even felt like I had some energy.  And boy, did that texture hit the spot.

So according the Dukan site, I am DONE the attack phase.  I lost over 3 pounds in those days, and to be frank, I don't know if I could go another day without vegetables, so I am starting the Cruise Phase.  I am going to do the first day as my protein+vegetable day, and go from there.  I am going to experiment this weekend with some "egg" recipe, and different things in hopes of adding a little more variety to the pure protein days.

Yesterday I bought one of those pre-made chickens at the grocery store.  I love these chickens, and they are practical to pick up.  They don't have any 'nutritional facts' on them, so I mainly wanted to see if it would effect my weight.  I wasn't sure if there was hidden fat, or tons of sodium, but it looked like it had no effect what so ever.

My Main Issue is this:  I work on the road.  When I leave my house in the morning, I don't come back for 6-7 hours, and I basically work in my car.  To add to that, we are going through a heat wave where with the humidex temperatures are above 40 celsuis.  So keeping 'snacks' in my car, when they are meat or yogurt, is a little frightening for me, even if I have a cooler.  Another thing, I get my lunch paid for everyday, so I hate bringing my lunch, when someone else will pay for it.  However, the problem with that is, there is no where to eat that serves JUST peice of meat.  Yesterdays chicken breast was off a Subway oven roasted chicken sub.  Not overly appetizing.  So my job is actually working against me on this diet.  I know the days when it is veggies and protein, it won't be an issue.  I have the celery/brocoli, etc cut up and ready to go as snacks, but I need to figure out what to do every other day.  It will come.

So those are some dillemas from Day 2.  Hopefully my report is a little more positive after my vegetable+protein day today.
