Debating the Dukan

It all started about 2 months ago, this debate of starting The Dukan Diet. A friend of mines Mother had lost 25 pounds in 50 days. I liked those numbers. She had tried all of the diets out there, and had finally found one that worked, but more importantly, she is keeping it off.

The English copy of the book The Dukan Diet hadn’t come out yet, and was set to be released on May 13th, so I pre-ordered myself a copy. Life was busy and I never really got around to reading it, then one day I decided it was time. I picked up the book, headed to the backyard to catch some rays, and next thing you know I am consumed in this book, and have a ridiculous sunburn. I found the book rather fascinating, as I was learning things about food I didn’t know before. I had read some diet books in the past, and thought “duh, that is common sense”, but this one was telling me things I didn’t know, and I oddly enough, believe everything this Dukan guy is saying.

So I started doing a little internet search, and came across a blog of a reporter who was doing the dukan. I have been following him for 5 weeks or so now(See Link Below). He has now lost 32 pounds in 67 days. This guy has totally been the reason I don’t think this is a scam.   After following his progress week after week, I am convinced this WILL work. So I have decided to take the leap. I am starting The Dukan Diet tomorrow, July 5th. Follow my journey of Doing the Dukan
