- 1/4 chicken with vegetable medly (peppers, brocoli, carrots)
Dinner:
- Chicken Breast with steamer brocoli & french green beans
So I didn't blog yesterday, so I missed recap on Day 16..oops! Not going to lie, I was mad yesterday. I had gained .2lbs and was not pleased. I am attributing said weight gain to the ham I eat. I noticed during week 1, when I would have ham, my weight loss was not as substantial, and it reinforced my point yesterday. I think the problem is I am buying FAT FREE hams, and I think I am going to try buying sodium reduced ones. I could instantly tell after I ate the ham I was going to gain weight. I was so thirsty & I definitely drank much more than I peed. I am glad to say that I am back on track.
It was really hard for me to break the 150 lb mark, it took me almost a week. Now that I have broken it, there is no looking back. I feel great today! Last night I spent the night organizing our chaos of a clothes pile. I found some pants that I haven't fit into for a very long time. Granted they are still snug, but they absolutely do up & another 5lbs , I should be able to fit into a lot of my old clothes. I think last nights marathon of cleaning also helped attribute to the additional weight loss. I was up and the down the stairs a ton of times while doing laundry & spent a lot of time on my feet moving around.
This weekend should be a challenge. We are leaving tonight around 6 p.m. & won't be home until later on Sunday. I have all my yogurts purchased, and am going to go to the grocery store to get some deli slices. Along with that, I am going to bring some chicken & lean burger patties so that I can quickly BBQ those up on the weekend. Luckily tomorrow is a veggie day, so I will be able snack on that all day, which is my FULL day away. Should be interesting to see where I am on Monday morning. Hopefully there will be plenty of 'walks on the beach' & other activities to get some exercise in. Hopefully I am well into the low 148's by Monday....a girl can dream. I have been surprisingly disciplined & stuck to the diet, so hopefully I can continue on this path, because our vacation is booked & I gotta look hot by November.
