Day 9 - The Dukan Diet

Current Weight: 152.4 lbs             Lost yesterday: .4 lbs
Total Lost: 7.8lbs


Breakfast:
-Yogurt & Oats

Snack:
-Celery Sticks
-Maybe 3-5 baby carrots

Lunch:
-Leftover Ham Pieces

Snack:
-Cup of Yogurt

Dinner:
-Vegetable Stir-Fry with Chicken


I was expecting a bit more weight loss this morning, but I will take it.  Over the course of a couple of months, every .4lbs will add up to a substantial number.  I thought due to the fact I had lost so little the 2 days prior, it would be coming up a stronger number, but no such luck. 

Yesterday I managed to squeeze in 30 minutes of hard-work: I mowed the lawn.  So it was more than a brisk walk, it was a power walk, and I was pushing a heavy device, in the hot sun.  I was sweating pretty decently by the end of it.  I felt totally fine doing it, so I am going to try and keep with the exercise momentum since it feels as though my energy levels are on the upswing.   

On a more exciting front, we have officially tentatively booked our November vacation as of last night, so this is even more motivation to get my butt in gear.  I am starting to be able to imagine that 125 is an attainable number.  Last time we visited the lovely island of Dominican Republic in February 2007, I was 138lbs.  That number lasted for about 1 month, then slowly starting creeping back.  That was the best I had ever looked & I am just hoping to top that this time around. 

I truly believe now, after almost a week and a half of this, that this is do-able and my goals are attainable.
